Gü was established in 2003 and was joined two years later by Frü. In 2010, the two brands joined forces under the name of Gü.

“James Averdieck, Gü’s founder, came up with the idea for a top-notch chocolate pud brand when he was working in Belgiumand and fell in love with the local patisseries and their chocolate.”
“It’s estimated that a Gü pud is now eaten somewhere in the world every 2 seconds.”

Now, I am a massive fan of chocolate but I must confess that I don’t like all of the puds Gü produce. But I have been a great admirer of the brand’s identity since they rebranded.
Each type of pudding is different and this is expertly emphasized using a wide range of vibrant colours and illustrations.

Here’s an inspiring story I came across on Dave Trott’s blog when researching the brand. The train is leaving the station.
The way in which the company presented their design idea reminded me of Mad Men. Loved it!
